
Ingredients:
- 1/2 pound Butter, melted
- 1/2 cup each butter and oil
- Cheese, sliced
- Cooked ham, sliced
- 2 Eggs, beaten lightly
- cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- Turkey, sliced
- 12 slices white sandwich bread
Instructions:
- Spread butter on each slice of bread. Place slice of ham and turkey on one slice of bread. Cover with second slice. Place cheese on top and cover with third slice of bread. Secure with toothpicks. Cut into halves diagonally.
- BATTER: Mix eggs, milk and salt. Dip sandwiches into egg mixture. Heat butter and oil in skillet to medium. Fry sandwiches slowly in skillet. Drain on paper toweling. Makes 4 servings.
