
Ingredients:
- 1 cup almonds (dry and salted, chopped)
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1 cup dark chocolate (Xocai Sipping Xocolate)
- 2 whole egg whites
- 1/2 cup sugar (or other sweetener)
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 whole large eggs
- 1 cup whole wheat pastry flour
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Spray a 9″x13″ pan with nonstick cooking spray. Heat butter in a 3-quart saucepan over low heat. Stir in ” X Power Squares” and “Nuggets” until smooth. Remove from heat. Add sugar and vanilla, stirring until well blended. Whisk in eggs, one at a time. Add egg whites. Fold in flour and nuts. Pour into prepared pan. Bake 30 minutes. Serves 24
